Huawei has paused deployment of the EMUI 10 update on the Honor 20 and View 20. Nearly two months after the start of the deployment, the Chinese firm has momentarily stopped pushing the stable version of Android 10.

In the meantime, the group announced that the firmware will arrive on a handful of other Honor phones in the coming weeks.

As reported by our colleagues in Huawei Central, the deployment of the Android 10 update, along with the EMUI 10 (Magic UI 3.0) cousin overlay, on the Honor 20, Honor 20 Pro and Honor View 20.

As a reminder, the group had launched the deployment of the final version of Android 10 last November.

We would like to inform you that the deployment of the stable version of Android 10 on the Honor 20 and View 20 is temporarily suspended. We will relaunch Android 10 by the second week of February 2020,

We appreciate your understanding and patience” said a spokesperson for the Indian branch of Honor.

The representative said no more about the reasons for the pause. It is believed that a bug was discovered in the overlayer.
